OnTheAir Video is a sophisticated playlist manager for use in broadcasting, for information kiosks and concert events. It has been designed with an open architecture - open to import and play out a wide variety of different formats in SD and HD – and open to support several different video PCI and Thunderbolt I/O cards and devices. Additionally, it is AppleScriptable and its playlists are in an XML format – allowing integration with existing automation system. Logos and graphics can be overlaid on all of the clips in a playlist – or on different single clips in a playlist. OnTheAir Video is powerful, reliable and remarkably easy to use.
ABOUT THE OPTIONS :
The Dynamic Graphics Overlay option (DGO) allows you to overlay dynamic graphics on top of the video. The Closed Captioning option (CC) allows you to output CC (CEA608 or CEA708) or OP47 to an SDI output. The Softron Streaming Pack, with MovieRecorder Express allows you to stream to RTMP. Make sure you order the ones you need.
HOW MANY LICENSES DO YOU NEED?
You will need to order one license per channel (video output device). So if you want to use OnTheAir Video DUAL, you will need to order 2 licenses, + the options needed for each channel (video output device).
SERIAL NUMBER OR DONGLE ?
By default, when ordering a license, you will receive a Serial Number by email that will require an activation using an internet connection. Before moving your serial number to another computer, you will need to deactivate it form the first computer. We strongly advise ordering the dongle option in cases of a critical use of the software, for example, if you need to move your license frequently from one computer to another, OR if you want to quickly move the license from the main computer to the backup in case of a hardware malfunction.
For more information on the activaton/deactivation process or the dongles, you should have check the Knowledge Base about our licenses available on the Softron Support Desk.
