SerialCommander provides 4 ports of RS-422 to control any Sony 9-pin equipped deck for automated ingest.

You can use SerialCommander with MovieRecorder (purchased separately), or with any other software that support RS-422 on serial ports. The 4 serial ports will be visible by any application on the Mac.

Note that MovieRecorder (purchased separately) can only record from tape, and can not record to tape.
