Most of Softron's application are licensed either as a serial number activated license or as a dongle license.
Serial number activated licenses are usually issued on the same day of purchase. Softron will email the serial number to the email address provided at the time the user's store account was created. Licenses are activated online by entering the serial number in the "License" area of the Application's pull-down window. Care must be taken if licenses are moved from one system to another. Failure to properly de-activate a license can invalidate the serial number and/or deactivation codes. Dongles are licenses that are connected to an available USB port. Orders for dongles will ship during business hours from our international headquarters in Brussels, Belgium either the same opening day if the order is placed before 1400 MET or the next opening day if placed later during the day. Orders are shipped via FedEx. Indicate the shipping address when placing the order. Arrival at the desired location usually takes place within one to five days after orders are placed. Dongles do not require a serial number. Dongles can easily be moved from system to system by disconnecting the dongle when the application is not running and plugging it into the new system prior to launching the application on the new system.
After issue, software licenses are non-refundable. We recommend that customers carefully evaluate their needs by using the respective application in Demo mode prior to purchase. The Demo Mode versions are fully functional applications that are limited either by watermark or time limitation.
