HOW TO CROSSGRADE?
- If you are using a Serial Number, it must be deactivated before we can generate a new MovieRecorder 5 license. Ideally, deactivate it before placing your order and include your serial number in the order comments, confirming that it has been deactivated. Once we receive your order and verify the deactivation, we will issue a new serial number. If you are unable to deactivate it beforehand, indicate this in the comments and we will coordinate the process with you.
- If you are using a Dongle, provide the serial number of the dongle you wish to upgrade when placing your order. We will then send you the upgrade procedure for that dongle.
- If you are using a Serial Number but want to upgrade to a dongle, simply add a dongle to your order and indicate which serial number it should replace. We will then send you the migration procedure.
HOW MANY CROSSGRADES DO YOU NEED?
You need one crossgrade per license you own. Upgrade packs are available, so if you need to upgrade multiple channels, make sure to check these.
I WANT TO KEEP USING MOVIERECORDER EXPRESS, IS IT POSSIBLE?
No, these are two different software, and once you have migrated to MovieRecorder, you won't be able to use MovieRecorder Express.
For more information on the activation/deactivation process or dongles, please refer to the License Help Center available on the Softron Support Desk.
