To be eligible, the M|Care warranty extension must be purchased within one year of buying your M|xx product, or Deltacast individual card. This extended coverage includes:

  • Coverage for the full M|xx product line, including the Deltacast card, Sonnet chassis, and dongle when purchased within the same bundle.
  • An extended warranty period of 3 years from the original purchase date.
  • Advanced exchange service

About the Advanced exchange service:
  • In case of a failure, we can ship a replacement card before receiving the faulty one, minimizing your downtime.
  • Proof of shipment of the defective device is required before dispatching the replacement unit.
  • The customer is responsible for the inbound shipping cost and must use an insured shipping service (such as FedEx or UPS), and not registered mail.
  • The customer will keep the replacement unit he received. Softron will keep the damaged unit, it won't be sent back to the customer.

Note that without the M|Care Warranty Extension, the standard policy is as follows:
  • 2-year warranty on the Deltacast card.
  • 1-year warranty on the Sonnet Chassis.
  • 5-year warranty on the dongle. For more information about dongle policies, refer to the following article.
  • No advanced exchange service is available under this policy. The device must first be shipped to us for inspection. It will then be sent to the manufacturer for repair. Once the repaired unit is returned to us, we will ship it back to the customer. While we cannot guarantee the repair turnaround time, we will make every effort to expedite the process as much as possible.

Additional Terms and Conditions (Applies for M|Care and standard policy):
  • This warranty covers only defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover:
    • damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse, mishandling, or improper installation;
    • unauthorized modifications, repairs, or tampering;
    • damage resulting from use outside of the recommended environmental or electrical specifications;
    • cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality;
    • loss, theft, or physical destruction of the product.
  • If, upon inspection, Softron determines that the damage was caused by any of the exclusions listed above, the repair will not be covered under warranty. In such cases, the customer will be responsible for all associated repair costs, which will be communicated before any service is performed.
  • Warranty claims must be accompanied by a valid proof of purchase indicating the purchase date and product serial number.
  • Outbound shipping from Softron to the dealer or customer is covered. Inbound shipping from the customer to Softron is not included.
  • The customer is responsible for the inbound shipping cost and must use an insured shipping service (such as FedEx or UPS), and not registered mail.
  • We will ship only to the same country as the one used for the original order.
  • Customers are responsible for securely packaging the product when shipping it to Softron for warranty service. Products damaged during shipping due to inadequate packaging will not be covered under warranty.
  • Softron’s liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective product under the terms of this warranty. Under no circumstances shall Softron be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.
